March 7, 2008, Newsletter Issue #33: Writing Descriptions For Your Junk Car Removal Request

Tip of the Week

There's no need for a lot of fluffy adjectives and adverbs when filling out a junkyard pick up request form. You definitely don't need a Master's degree in English, but you do need to know how to write concise, factual content that accurately describes your vehicle. When filling out these forms, don't write long descriptions about the car. They just need to know if the car is working, if it's missing any parts (and which ones) and the make and model of the car.

Only your home phone number is required, but it’s best to also include additional contact information like your cell phone or business number. Make sure to include your full mailing address, as this is where your receipt will be sent.
