Junked motorcycles, unfortunately, pose the same types of environmental hazards as junked automobiles. They can cause water and soil contamination from oil leaks, may be a fire hazard if they contain flammable substances are a danger to children who are attracted to junked cars or motorcycles (loose, jagged, sharp parts) and may become a home for mosquitoes and rodents. Many people think, with good intentions, that they'll one day be able to get that old motorcycle up and working again.  The reality is, life gets busy and we forget about it.  Like anything else, it's easy to keep putting it off.  There's always a better time to deal with it. Unfortunately, while the excuses pile up that junked motorcycle is getting older and older and harder to fix. Before you know it, your property will look like a motorcycle salvage yard.
